A Changemaker within an IT business organization must lead initiatives that reshape the future of technology and elevate operational standards for businesses.

My first year at Ordina have been marked by transformative actions at two different clients. First, in my role as a business analyst at the NCG in Groningen I have addressed societal challenges by creating valuable insights to alleviate the housing crisis in Groningen. Second, as a project management officer at ACM in The Hague by using upcoming technologies, I have driven continuous improvement in the IT department at ACM. Therefore, contributing to nationwide progress from the Northeast to the Southwest of the Netherlands.

However, above all, embracing the Changemaker Identity lies in personal and professional development. I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge base and improve practical skills. By doing so, my aspiration is to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for colleagues and others, encouraging to embark on a continuous journey of self-improvement.

For colleagues aspiring to embrace the Changemaker mindset, fostering a growth mindset is paramount. Over the past year, my significant personal achievements were born out of deliberately stepping into the spotlight. From sharing my story at the Ordina Benelux All Hands to featuring prominently in the Sopra Steria promo video. Furthermore, I have been an active writer on LinkedIn, highlighting my insights of the first year at Ordina. Also, sharing my thoughts about the podcasts and Inspiring Sessions. These accomplishments did not happen suddenly but required a mental change. I had to force myself into the spotlight, which does not come naturally to me.

Hiding in the crowd is often the effortless route, the path of least resistance. As a wise German once said: “If you do the same thing over and over again, you cannot ever expect a different outcome”. In light of this perspective, I made a conscious choice to deviate from my usual course while remaining true to myself. This decision aimed at yielding diverse results than the patterns I had grown accustomed to. Stepping into the spotlight and voicing my opinions became a deliberate act, a realization that my opinions are important. Embracing this change, I found that my colleagues not only respected but appreciated my willingness to speak up.
